Bangalore, India-
Airbus has signed a MoU for establishing a Centre of
Excellence for aerospace skill development in Hyderabad. India together with The
Govt. of Telangana, National Skill Development Corporation India and AEROCAMPUS
France.
The signing was witnessed by Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Hon’ble
Union Minister of State for Skill Development & Entrepreneurship and K
TARAKA RAMA Rao, Hon’ble Minister for Industries & Commerce Govt. of
Telangana.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Rudy said,” This first of its
kind Centre of Excellence aims to enhance the employability of young aspirants
by impairing the skills to them.”
“The Centre will not only provide training on aircraft
maintenance but on aerospace manufacturing and assembly” He added.
“Telangana has taken a lead in setting up India’s first
Centre of Excellence in aerospace manufacturing. We understand the importance
of skill development in creating a comprehensive and successful aerospace
eco-system. The Centre will up skill international norms and will also partner
with global aerospace and defense majors in their’ Make In India’ initiative programmed
is supported by the Govt. of Telangana.
The Centre will come up at Begum pet Airport Hyderabad and
will train Candidates ranging from high school graduates experienced aviation
personnel on aircraft, Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) ground handling
and special aviation processes.
The Centre will offer short term refresher modules as well
as long term certificate and diploma courses that will find accept ability with
the Industry.
