February 16, 2013, Hyderabad, India – The Golkonda Hotels hosts the “Jewel of Nizam” from 8thFeb., to 17th Feb., 2013. This has been inaugurated by Sri A. K. KHAN, I.P.S, Vice-Chairman & Managing Director of APRTC, Andhra Pradesh.
He had expressed his views with his acquaintance with Hyderabad as the place of True Biryanis of Iran, Turkish, Arabian along with Haleem, Sweetwhich recollects the culture of Mughals history and Social context.
This historical cultural has been truly exhibited vide ways from by the Great Chefs especially Hyderabad (Hyderabadi biryani) and Aurangabad (Naan Qalia), Gulbarga (Tahari), Bidar(Kalyani Biryani) etc . Hyderabadi cuisine is seen in the former Hyderabad State that includes Andhra Pradesh, Marathwada region (now in Maharashtra), and Hyderabad Karanataka region (now in Karnataka). The cuisine also contains city specific specialities like. The key difference from the North Indian cuisine is the presence of dry coconut and tamarind in its cuisine.
Hyderabadi cuisine is a princely leagacy of The Nizams of Hyderabad, India. The City was founded by the Sultans of Golkaonda, which has developed its own cuisine over the centuries.
Jewel of India theme festival is taking place in the Golkonda Hotel at Jewel of Nizam-Signature Resaurant for Hyderabadi cuisine and known for its finesse cuisine that have been served over a period of time the overlheming response that its is a true reflection of Tri-Cities. The Festival will have some the signature dishes that are going to be part dining experiences at Jewel of Nizam.
